| Lend Me a Tenor is a Tony Award winning comedic farce by Ken Ludwig. When a world famous Italian tenor, set to perform the starring role in Otello, receives a double dose of tranquilizers through a series of mishaps, the company navigates one catastrophe after another. Dealing with an angry wife, an ambitious female co-star, a presumed death, a flirty head of the opera guild, and secret sex romps, they must find a way to save the opera company’s big night. With crazy costumes, and loads of slamming doors and mistaken identities, they find a way in grand farcical fashion. | |
